AES Japan Section will hold AES Tokyo Convention 2007 (AES 13th Regional Convention, Tokyo) from July 19th to 21st, 2007, at Science Museum, Tokyo, Japan.

The theme of this convention is "Divergences of Audio Technology in Our Life". Today the audio technology that has developed around music and the film industry is spreading to the entertainment industry, various mobile devices, digital broadcasting, the internet delivery and the game industry. We expect you to discuss about what the direction of the audio technology in the future is. We are planning the exhibition, the product seminars, the student program, the papers session, and the workshops and furthermore the exchange program among industry and academic are newly set. The convention program is following.

We will expect you to join the AES Tokyo Convention 2007 and spend significant days with us.

Paper Session

Highlight the latest studies on audio engineering research and production will be reported. Details of submission of papers can be found on the "Call for papers".

Workshop

The people working for surround sound, high resolution audio and several area which related audio engineering, will be invited to discuss the topics for now and future.

Exhibition/Product Seminar

Further to the traditional exhibition, "Product Seminar" is held to introduce and discuss the detail of the new products.

Student Program

Student members can submit stereo, surround, and audio post recordings in the "Sound Award for Students". Details on how to participate will be released on the web site soon. The seminars for students and young engineers will be also held.

Exchange program among industry and academic

The university or research laboratory can exhibit and demonstrate the result of their study and we offer the place of the research result exchange for new licensing-in in the industrial world.
